In view of the Junior Rep. match with the Manunui Juniors the following players have been selected to play a trial match on the Domain next Saturday at 2.30 p.m. sharp. —A Team. Full: K. Kerr; three-quarters: Brown, St. George. D. Hetet; five eighths: Kneebone; half: P. Mclnterr; forwards: Anderson, M. Kerr, Teasdate, Griffith#, J. Rata, Cullen, Tomer, Vaoae, Tucker. —B Team. - Foil: N. Cole; three-quarters: V. Kirk, F. Kerr. Noakes; fivr-cighths: J. CojineH; half: W. McNaoght; forwards: Morrissey, Aldred, Hansen, Pulford, E. Kerr, Ruruonga. Croiek•hank, Cliff on J. Pootawera. Aoy of the above player* unable to play to let the Secretary know at once. Tc Ktriti Football Cl«b. A meeting of the above club wast hctd in Mr Kerr's Bcardinghouse on Friday evening last Mr Phillips, president, in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Several accounts were passed for payment. On the motion of the President, seconded by Mr H. Rothery, it was resolved that "Any player being injured and requiring surgical or medical attention shouto notify the Secretary of his ionjuries and if poasibte obtain an order from the Secretary. Resolved that Mr N. C. Matthew's presentation of a case of pipes for the moat improved player be received, and that he be thanked for same. The following donations towards the dob's funds were received.—Mr G. Phillips £5; E. Kerr .££ Is; J. C. Botes 10s 6d.—The secretary was instructed to write and thank the donors.
Proposed by Mr Black. seconded by Mr Vau«e. that the prizes given for the season be baltotted for. The names of every player to be placed on the ballot list, and each member of the club to have a vote. Evctjt ptayer t*> be handed a voting paper with his own name cancelled. Carried. Resolved that a silver shield be placed on Mr Matthew's case of pipes with donor's and recipient's names engraved thereon. Proposed by Mr Vause, seconded by Mr Botes, that Mr Btack be asked to take charge of the Club's football t. - Carried.
The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
The match South Island v. North Island was won by the Sooth Island the •cores being 19 points to 11 points. The Maori touring team defeated - New South Wales by 12 points to 8.
The following players are requested to meet at the Railway station on Friday 27th teat at 4 p.m. to leave for Taomarunui: — Williams, Tuheka, Rou Rata, Hikafca, Tore i. Hurley, Black, Rothery. Peehi, Mango, Boles. Keetey, Smith, I. Kerr, Thomson. Bell, Dean. The final select ton will be made on Saturday.
