NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council propose at its meeting to BORROW by way of Special Loan within the meaning of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908, a Sum of £SOO for the purpose of WIDENING AND METALLING that portion of the Otorohanga-Hangatiki Road commencing from the north-east comer of Section 9, -to the southern corner of Section 2 of Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District. It is proposed to strike a Special Rate of lid (ONE PENNY FARTHING) in the Pound on the basis of the Capital value of all Rateable Property in the Mataparu Special Rating District, comprising the whole of Sections 2.3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8,9, 10, and 11 of Block VIII, Orahiri; also Wbareraurekau. Block and Oarhiri No. 1, Section 22 Block. Such Special Rate shall be an ANNUAL RECURRING RATE during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years at 3J per cent, or until the Loan ia fully paid off, and it is the in tention to pay out of the Loan the cost of raising same and the first year's interest.
