STOCK SALES.
Dalgety and Company, report as follows:—We held our usual fortnightly stock sale in the Cambridge yards on the 13th August. There was a good attendance and a good yarding of stock, which sold at late rates, praoti* cally the whole yarding being cleaned. Over 200 head of cattle were yarded including several lines of well bread fresh conditioned cattle for which competition was very giod. Fat bullocks brought £6 12s 6d to £7 15s; (at cows to £5; forward 3 year steers £5 to £6l 4s Gd; 30 month steers £4 2s 6d; backward heifers in eai/ £4 ss; yearting mixed sexes £2 3s; calves 27s 6d ton 27s 6J; dairy cows near to profit up to £8 10s; springing heifers up to £7; medium to £6 10a; aged to £5 2s 6d.
