PACMAKO.
(Own Correspondent.) We are stilt having very rough weather; more than we care aboot, and one and all in this district would like to see it clear op once again, so that the settlers can get on with their outside work. Mr Tarrant, one of oor new settlers, is busily engaged erecting a dwelling on his farm at Paemako, and when finished wilt be a credit to the place. The Te Haiti—Awakino road is at the present time in a very bad state. and some of the holes on it have got very deep, so much so, that one is afraid of going oat of this wortd altogether. Bow Lewis' and the mail coaches get through is a wonder to every on* who knows the road.
