" ENGAGED."
The members of the Te Kuiti Dramatic Society are now busy making the final preparations for staging the play "Engaged."' at the Town Hall on June 23th. Very complete arrangements arc being made to put on the play in a thoroughly up-to date style, and local playgoers can look forward to seeing a high class production. The fact that the play is from the pen of the eminent playwright Sir W. S. Gilbert,' « sufficient recommendation as to the subject chosen. Several local hits are introduced, and the humour is thoroughly wholesome, and is sure to appeal irresistibly to the audience. The performance is in aid of the funds of the Fire Brigade and it is hoped the residents will accord the Society every .support in their efforts to assist a. gouJ cause.
