The Farmers Co-operative Auct- ; ioncering Company Ltd, Report. At Waihou on Friday we yarded 520 head of cattle, 1500 sheep and 40 pigs. There was a good enquiry for all classes and practically the whole ' yarding was cleared; 75 head of beef penned were required. Fat sheep £6 105 to £7 ss: tighter sorts, £5 14s to £6 is: well fatted cows and heifers. £5 to £5 15s: others, £4 to £4 15s: fresh conditioned 3 and steers, £4 19s to £5 s*: 2Ji-year steers. £3 to £3 17s od: 12 and 18-monih steers. 36* to £2 , 14s; good calves. 20s to 295; store cows; £2 5* to £2 8s; choice springing heifers. £&. others, £3 lOs to £4 17s 6d > more backward sorts. £2 15s to £2 16s; springing cows. £6 17s 6d to £7 15s; fat wethers. 15s 4d forward conditioned long-wool wethers I2s lid to 13s 6d: fat ewes. I is to 13s 3d: store 7s 8d to 10: sound mouthed ewes.in lamb, I2s: others, 6s 9d to 9s 2d; good lambs, 8s to 8s 7d: pigs—slips, 13s Qd to 19s 6d; pwkers, 255: weaners, 7» to i°* crop of swedes, £2 15s per acre. At Hamilton on 3rd inst, we yarded 300 head of cattle and 800 sheep. There was a better demand than usual at this sale for stock, and the majority was sold. Fat steers. £7 to £7 I 0»; lighter weights. £6 13s; fat heifers. £4 6s to £4 10s; fresh conditioned empty heifers, £2 7s 6d to £j 2s; 18-month steers, £2 6s to £2 13: good calves, 27s to 325; others, 14s to 245; springing cows. £5 to £5 los: heifers in calf £6 lOs: heifers. £3 to* to £4 lOs: fat wethers, 14s sd; forward wethers. 12$ 4d; choice woolly lambs, I Is; forward lambs, 8s 2d to 9s: pigs, slips lis to 14s.

On Thursday 3rd inst., we hold a clearing sale near Te Awamutu on account of Mr G. Gozar. There wait a large attendance of settlers from the surrounding districts, and all dead and live stock realised splendid prices. Dairy cows made from £5 5s to £7 2s 6d; medium draught horses up to £2O; breeding sows £2 Jss to £4 10s; buggy £ls sm; implements, harness, etc., at usual prices. At Ngaruawahia on the 4th inst., we held a stock and Hairy cow sale, both yards being filled. There was a large attendance of buyers from Upper and Lower Waikato, and every lot was sold at the hammer or afterwards. The best demand existed for grown steers, calves and well grown heifers in calf. Fat steers made from £6 l"s to £7 ss; 3 year steers £4 12s 6d to £5; 2 year steers £3 6s «o £3 12s 6d; empty cows in fresh condition £2 2s 6d to £3 3s; 18 month to 2-year heifers 36s to 445; dairy cows to calve early £5 2s 6d to £6 10s; backward sorts £3 17s 6d to £4 10s; cull cows £2 17s 6d to £3 ss; well grown heifers £5 5s to £6 10s; others £3 12s 6d to £4 15s. The Farmers' Auctioneering Company intend holding a clearance sale at Te Kuiti on July Bth, to dispose of Major Losk's stock from Mairoa. Other entries will be received for the fate, details of which will be advertised later.
