The roil number is now 27 and it la expected that next summer the total will be considerably swelled. Up to the present there has been no committee appointed and the parents are moving in the direction of having a commissioner appointed to look after tbe nana! requirements. It is understand that Mr G J. Bevege is to be requested to take the position of commissioner and his well-known interest in matters effecting the district renders the choice a popular one. With a free site there is every inducement for the Board to erect the building, especially as the necessity for a school has been demonstrated, and it is hoped the work wilt ho accomplished next summer. Dairy Factory matters are now well k in train and there is every reason to * hope that the factory wilt be in running order early in the coming season. Intending suppliers will ha«e ample time to provdie the necessary cows and plant for starting work, and judging from the interest displayed, there is little doubt that dairying has come to stay. __ I
