STOCK SALES.

The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, report as follows: At Ohaupo on April 27th we had a yarding of 405 head of cattle. Four pens of nice quality forward 3 year steers made £5 Is to £5 17s and £6 2s; 60 three year store steers made from £3 6s to £4 ss; fresh conditioned cows and heifers £2 10s to £3 7s 6d; smaller sorts £2 7s 6d to £2 15s; steer calves up to 30s; smaller sorts 15s; fat cows £3 18s to' £4 lis; pen fat bullocks £7 17s. At Ngaruawahia on Wednesday 28th April we had an entry of 913 head of really choice cattle, the majority being forward conditioned bullocks and fat and forward empty cows and heifers. Notwithstanding the quality and condition of the stock bidding was very dull and prices low, and we do not believe sellers in any other Waikato market would have accepted the money I and had a margin for grazing, and if | buyers of turnip bullocks expect to [ stock at these prices they may have ',, '. At Cambridge we had an entry of 367 bead of cattle. Two pens of small fat steers made £7 7s 6d to £7 12s; fat cows £3 18s to £4 lis; fresh empty cows £2 18s to £3 ss; store cows 37s 6d; 15 months steers 455; 18 month steers 50s; choice steer calves 30s to 355; good steer calves 24s to 265; choice well grown calves 335; smaller calves 17s to 20s; choice 3 year dairy heifers to calve in spring £4 8s; more backward £3 5s to £3 10s.
