Piopio Burglary.—

Victor Charles Herbert and Arthur George Helcm appeared on remand to answer charges for breaking and entering and theft. Evidence as to the burglary and the arrest of accused was given by Messrs J. Andrews, R, L. Fitzpatrick, V. S. Hattaway, and Constable Mathew, and accused were committed for sentence at the ensuing sitting of the Supreme Court at Auckland.

On a charge of breaking and entering and theft at Awakino the same accused pleaded guilty. Evidence was given by a Maori named Wctcni and the accusced were committed.
