PIOPIO DAIRY FACTORY.

A meeting of those interested in the Piopio Dairy Factory was held in Miroahuiao Hall on Saturday afternoon last. Mr P. O'Dwyer occupied the chair, and there was a good attendance, despite the unfavourable weather conditions.

Correspondence was received from Messrs Mason, Struthers and Co., Messrs Watts, Broadfoot and Finlay. Mr W. Garrett, representing Mason, Struthers and Co., and Mr Burr, representing MacEwan and Co, attended the meeting and gave valuable information with regard to the requirements of tbs Factory, together with estimates of the cosf qf earne,

A vote of thanks to both gentlemen was passed by the meeting. A copy of the agreement for the supply of cows was submitted by Messrs Watts, Bvoadfoot and Finlay, jojicltors, and after the terms had been disit was decided to adjourn until Saturday nest at 1 p.m. It is to be hoped a full attendance of intending suppliers and all persons otherwise interested in the movement will ensue on Saturday next as important business is to be dealt with, including the election of directors, the consideration of the articles of Association, the suppliers' Agreement, and tfce site for the factory.
