WEDDING BELLS.

A «iy pretty wedding was celebrated st St. David's Presbyterian Church, Auckland, the Rev. W. GreyDixon officiating. The contracting parties were Mi«s Christina A Hen, eldest daughter of Thomas McMillan, of New Bond Street, Kingsland, and Mr Herbert William Batttey, of Te Kuiti. A large circle of friends attended the ctveme&y. The bride was prettily dressed and carried a beautiful shower bouquet, and wore the cos ternary wedding veil.

After the ceremony the wedcing breakfast was partaken rf at Buchanan's Cafe, Karangahape Road, and the health of the bride and bridegroom was enthusiastically honoured. The happy couple left for Rotorua where their honeymoon is being spent.

A number of valuable and useful presents were received. Mr and Mrs Battle} return to their new home at Mangaotaku during the next fortnight and old friends of the bride, who was schoolteacher in Te Kuiti some two years ago will be pleased to renew acquaintance and extend congratulations.
