In connection with the request of the settlers interested in the proposed telephone to Kaeaea. the following letter, dated March Ist., has been received from the Prime Minister:— 1 am in recsipt of your letter of the sth February, forwarding copy of a resolution passed by the settlers of Kaeaea. relative to the guarantee required in respect of the proposed telephone line to Kaeaea. and to the renumeration of the Postmistress at that place.
