MAORI WEDDING AT TE KUITI

On Friday last a very pretty wedding wast celebrated in Te Kuiti flatl. the contracting parties being Mr James Manawaiti. grandson ©lf Mr J. T. Hetet. of Te Kuiti. and Miss Nora Curtis. of Rotorua. The ceremony was conduct*'d by the Rev. Father Weintjes. of Rotorua. in the presence of a large gathering. The bride was attended by the younger sister, and Mr J. Hetet. Junr.. as groomsman. The bride wast beautifulty attired in white, with an exquisite bridal veil, and carried the customary bouquet. After the ceremony a large party of guests assembled at the residence of B$ J. T. Hetet. where the weidirg breakfast was laid.
