OPARURE SPORTS.
The Oparure Sports Meeting wad held at Manga tea *>n Monday last. Favnrable weather conditions prevailed, except that tl*e heat was rather trying at times, and a large number of visitors attended The effort of the committee to provide for the comfort of visitors were appreciated and the booth did a splendid trade. It is gratifying to learn that a substantial surplus will result from the meeting, a circumstance which is undoubtedly due to the energy and ability of the Secretary, Mr E. C.
