Public Baths.
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir,- -With reference to the suggestion to establish public baths at Te Kuiti, I must say I think the residents should not allow the opportunity to slip. There is a fine river running through the town, and at a very small cost a bathing shed cotd;' be erected and the river cleared sufficiently to make an ideal hath. Trusting the matter will be taken ur generally a3 promiscuous bathing v.;-::':-. goes on at present should not be allowed. —I am, etc., OLD RESIDENT.
