On Saturday next the Taumarunui cricket clob will pay a visit to Te Kuiti to try conclusion* with the local team. The visitors will arrive by the express at 10.36 a.m., when tbey will be met by members of the Te Kuiti club and conducted to the Domain. Luncheon will be provi-ted on the ground, and play will commence as soon after the arrival of the train as poesiblc. The following have been selected to represent Te Kuiti :~Lusk, Strcl. Wallace. Phillips, Turner, Morgan, Bird. Skelton, Goldfinch, Seed. Sharpies. Emergencies, Falwasscr ami Trinncar. The side is hardly as strong a? couM be wished, and the majority of the players will be considerably out of form. The unavoidable absence of Fortescue is to be regretted *aa thin player has been showing consiHtrntly gtxxl form throughout the season.
