WAIKATO HOSPITAL.

The annual shilling subscription, promoted by Mrs W. A. Graham, of Hamilton, for the purpose of present* ing each inmate of the Waikato Hospital with a Christmas gift resulted in the sum of i! 9 IT# 7d being received for the Christmas of 1909. Of this sum the amount of £2l 2s 6d was expended on gifts for the inmates, and the balance ts to be devoted to the parchase of invalid chairs and other articles to add to the comfort of hospital inmates. Mrs Graham and Mr VakJer desire to heartily thank all those ladies and gentlemen who assisted the collection i for this fond, and so making a very pleasant and bright Christmas for the ; sixty inmates of the Waikato Hospital.
