Limited, rrport as follows: At Waihou on Friday last, we had a yarding of 1962 sheep, comprising 358 fat ewes and withers. tJf-1 lambs, 914 crossbred ewes and B rams and 842 head of cattle, consisting of 97 fats. 55» stores and 195 good calve?. Sheep were required and practically the whole yarding was emitted at auction. The ewes advertised on behalf of Mr Herrles sold welt. Two-tooth ewes. Ifis IDd: 4-teothewes. Gates and grandstand paddock werr reserved by the club. At Cambridge on February sth. we had not a large yarding, only 276 head of cattle and a few sheep and pigs. Fat steers fetched £7 15s: fat and forward cows, £3 IBs to £ I 4s: two and a half year old steers. £3 12s to £4 3s: eighteen months steers. £2 12« to £3 3s: good calves. 225» to 2ls: wcaner pigs. 12s to 18s: slips, 25s to 27s fed: 150 rape lambs. 9s 9d. At Te Kuiti on 17tb inst.. we had a yarding of 32W sheep and 1239 head of cattle, most of the stock being disposed of at very fair auction rates. At Ohattpo on Tuesday we had a good entry of cattle of all classes. about 500 head being yarded. The attendance wast not so large as usual and the demand limited, a number of lines having to be passed in at auction, but several sales were effected afterwards. On Wednesday Wr held our first sheep fair of ',hr season at Ohaupo when we penned 19.2:>rt sheep, lambs. wethers, ewes of all ages, and rams being well represented. There was a large attendance of buyers present, and bidding was keen from start to finish, and every pen on the lengthy catalogue changed hands, at most satisfactory prices. Lambs and ewes from 2 tooth up to fresh full mouth were eagerly competed for. and amongst the rams Lincolns received the most attention. Forward to fat lambs, ins to 21s ; store do., 6s Id to 9s 6d: 2 tooth ewes. Us 4d to ICs 3d; 4 tooth do.. 14s 4d to ISslOd; full mouth ewes 10» to 12s 2d: do. failing mouths. At ©or monthly sale at Narguawahia we submitted about 500 bead of cattle to a large number of buyers from Upper and Lower Waikato. There was excellent competition for all classes, 150 3to 4 year old steers from Waingaro and Wairangi selling e specially well, in fact, the wnol<? yarding was cleared at prices in advance of late sale. Crown steers in forward condition made from £6 15a to £7los; others more backward £5 10s to £6 8s; do., less age, £4 4s 4d to £4 19s; 20montbs old steers, £2 10s to £2 14s; 18 month do.. 12 3s to £2 6s; fat cows, £4 10s to £5 7s6d; fat heifers, £4 to £4 3s; 2| year old heifers in calf, £3 ITs £d to £4 9»: for good quality, others £2 \3» to £3 3s: cows in for' ward condition. £3 7* Kd to £3 14s; storr cows, £1 If* to £2 5» calves. t9» 6d to £1 7»; dairy cowi*. £ I to £S ss; swffcy and h*mr*«. tftiJ !♦**.
