At Ohattpo on Tuesday we had a good entry of cattle of all classes. about 500 head being yarded. The attendance wast not so large as usual and the demand limited, a number of lines having to be passed in at auction, but several sales were effected afterwards. On Wednesday Wr held our first sheep fair of ',hr season at Ohaupo when we penned 19.2:>rt sheep, lambs. wethers, ewes of all ages, and rams being well represented. There was a large attendance of buyers present, and bidding was keen from start to finish, and every pen on the lengthy catalogue changed hands, at most satisfactory prices. Lambs and ewes from 2 tooth up to fresh full mouth were eagerly competed for. and amongst the rams Lincolns received the most attention. At ©or monthly sale at Narguawahia we submitted about 500 bead of cattle to a large number of buyers from Upper and Lower Waikato. There was excellent competition for all classes, 150 3to 4 year old steers from Waingaro and Wairangi selling e specially well, in fact, the wnol<? yarding was cleared at prices in advance of late sale.
