A combined field day for the King ( Country Rifle Clubs has been arranged " for the 21th February, when the Upper King Country, Ohura, Kakahi and Kiokio Rifle Clubs will assemble at , Kakahi, where field firing will beprac- j ticed. A meeting will be held after * th • field exercises to consider the question of providing a trophy for annual competition, also to consider . the question of adopting uniforms. ~ " i The D Squadron, Cambridge, will fire \ their marksmen's course on Saturday j next, and N.C.O's will also be exam- , ined by StafT-Sergt-Major Coleman. j - ! Lieut-Colonel Bell commanding the j 2nd Regiment. A.M.It., and Capt. A. S. Brcwis, Medical StafT Corps, were present at the No. 1 Garrison Artillery Camp at Fort Bastion during the big gun practice last week, and remained until the camp broke up on Saturday.
