STOCK SALES.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report as follows: -

At Cambridge on Friday we penned over 1100 head of cattle of all classes, comprising HO fat steers. cow* and betters (149 sold). 500 store cattle and 460 also 3000 sheep and 60 pigs. Here was a targe attendance of buyers from all parts of Waikato, Raglan. Httrcrtaai and Putaruro, and we report a ncet successful sale. Bidding was brisk throughout, and only a few smalt bono of rattle were passed, and alt the ttteep sold except two tines of owes, where vendors' ideas of values were much above those of the buyers.
