A meeting? n( the Te Kuitt branch of 111* N.2. Farmers' Ifnion wm held at MrMussen'* offire on Tuesday evening last, Mr R. M. Somervtfle, vice-pres-ident* presiding.

Sympathy with the movement was expressed by the members present, and it was resolved that the secretary should communicate with the members of the branch, and circulate subscription lists for the purpose of subscribing to the fond.

The secretary of the Mokau-iti branch of the Union wrote with reference to joining in a proposed visit to the Roakura Government Experimental Farm. It was resolved to apprise th* members of the proposal with a view to allowing them to join in the visit. --Rating on Unimproved Values - The matter of rating on unimproved values was brought forward for discussion, and it was resolved to communicate with the other branches of the Union within Waitomo Ceunty with • view to tafting joint action in Um matter. It was further decided to instruct the secretary to communicate with the various branches of the Union, and the Stttiers* Associations to endeavour to arrange for holding a conference at To Koiti on February t~th next. A stock sate is to be held at Te Koiti on that date and it is expected no difficulty will be experienced in arranging the matter. —Stray Dogs

It was resolved that the Waitomo County Council be requested to enforce the registration of dogs within the Comity, and to recommend thejdestruction of wandering dog?, as sheep worrying is becoming common in the district.
