KIRITEHERE —MAROKOPA.
(Own Correspondent.) The Marokopa Milling Company are having their plant removed from the Heads to Kairimu, at which place they intend to start milling operations shortly. The erection of the Marokopa-Ka-whia telephone still hangs fire. Settlers are beginning to desire a spell of fine weather so as to get their bush burnt.
It is about time pigeon shooting in this locality terminated as the season for such luxury is now well over.
We are looking forward to the early occupation of many sections of land that for a good time have been lying idle.
