KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the recentlyconstituted Kawa Drainage Board, was held in Te Awamutu on Saturday last. There were present: Messrs Geo. Kay, Chairman, J. B. Teasdale, H. Walsh and D. Ross. —Classification.

The matter of the classification of the lands in the drainage area was discussed, and it was finally decided to meet the engineer at the Kawa station on Wednesday, and go over the different properties. The raising of a loan and making rates will be dealt with after ths classification of lands.
