o Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons report as follows: — At Remuera on Thursday, dairy cows t sold from £1 10s to £9 10s according' to age and quality; dry, £1 10s to £3 15s; stores at recent quotations. Young and fat calves, in average numers, were at late values, ranging in price from Is to £2 14s; 65 sold. There was a full yarding of fat cattle of nice quality, which sold up to late quotations, ox beef selling from 20s to 22s per 1001b. and cow 17s to 19s. Steers ranged in price from £6 10s to £9 17 6d; cows, £3 10s to £6 17s 6d; 354 sold. The sheep pens were well filled with a good class of mutton, and prices were easier for all kinds. Heavy wethers brought from 15s to 17s. others to 14s 6d; heavy ewes to 15s, lighter weights 10s 6d to 14s; 1360 sold. Lambs, plentiful, ranged in price from 8s 6d to 16s; 519 sold. Pigs, penned in moderate numbers, kept late values.
