MACMAHON AND CARROLL'S PICTURES.

... ♦-—.. — Boras-Squires Fight. Picture shows of every conceivable variety have descended upon Te Kuiti diving the past year and the public were doubtless becoming somewhat satiated with that particular branch of entertainment. However, a really first class entertainment never fails to draw, and a wry fine nous* greeted the opening op of the MacMahon and Carroll pictures at the Town Hall on Friday evening. The chief attraction, of coarse was the series of films depicting the Boms-Squires glove contest for the World's Championship, at Sydney. The combination, having already toured the larger centres throughout the Dominion, had the weight of public appreciation to recommend it and the Te Kuiti residents were not disappointed. A highly varied number of films including excellent representations of, the famous Otymppic Sports. FrancoBritish Exhibition. Empire Day Celebrations, and a numerous other fine pictures contributed to a really good entertainment. •

The company intends returning to Te Kuiti at a future date.
