OPARURE SPORTS.

An excellent programme iB being Issued for the Oparure spoits, which are to be held at Mangatea on December 17th. The events are of a highly varied nature, and provide for competitions of all classes, including both Europ3ans and Maoris. There are two horse races, three running events for men, from 100 yards to half a mile, five wood chopping competitions, beside girls', women's, and schoolboy races, an well as jumping events. With such a list to choose from, there reason to hope for large entries, and a pleasant day should be spent on Mangatea Hat on Decembejr 17th.
