Loan and Mercantile Company.

A cable from London this week stated that after paying debenture interest and adding £35,000 to the reserve account, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has a credit balance of £6624. A dividend of 5 per cent, has been declared, and the sum of £195 carried forward. It is proposed to add to the capital of the reserve account £60,000 out of the surplus from realisation of properties.
