MR. JENNINGS ON TOUR.

BY TELEGRAPH. TAUMARUNUI, Thursday. .Mr Jennings arrived at Kakahi this afternoon after a most successful election tour "in the Waimarino 'district. In three days he has addressed twelve meetings, including Waiouru, Eaetihi, Horopito, Ohakune, and Raurimu. At all the meetings the candidate was received enthusiastically, and the Ohakune meeting, of over 500 electors, wound up by a presentation by six lady electors, to the candidate, of an equal number of bouquets. There is no doubt of a big vote being cast for Mr Jennings in Waimarino district. A large meeting is to be held at Kakahi this afternoon, where the candidate addresses the electors.
