TOWNSHIPS DEPUTATION.
A public meeting was held in the old' * Hall, Te. Kuiti on Firday evening laSty |* to receive the report of the delegates ' appointed to represent tho township on the#eputation to Wellington. There was a good attendance and Mr F. Darrow was voted to the chair. After receiving the report 'of Messrs and Steel, a resolution eonveylng-iii« thanks of the meeting to the delegates yvas passed unanimously.
