A KAEAEA FATALITY.
Information was brought to Te Kuiti on Tuesday evening last that a a man named Bredenbeck had been killed in the bush at ICaeaea. From particulars to hand it appears that Bredenbeck had a contract to fell n bush for Mr. Hickman, and while at work on Tuesday the accident occurred. The unfortunate man was well-known and highly respected in the district, where he had taken a section of his own. He was an experienced bushman and it was his intention, when the present season was over to confine his efforts to his own place. Deep regret is felt by the surrounding settlers, and widespread sympathy is extended to the unfortunate man's relatives. The body was brought to Te Kuiti on Thursday where an inquest was held.
