The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report as follows t At Matamata an Wednesday last, we yarded 3000 sheep, 200 store cattle and 250 dairy cows. _ There was a large attendance and prices for sheep were easier than at Ohaupo the previous day. Store cattle were required and sold readily; also young and sound dairy cows close to profit, old cows, as usual, being unsaleable. Two-tooth ewes in lamb 16s 9d, 2, 4, 6, and 8-tooth ewes 16s 4d to 17s, choice full-mouth ewes 16s 6d to 17s 6d, woolly hoggets 10s 6d, fat and forward cows £4 5s to £4 19s, 18months steers £3 to £3 7s, mixed calves and yearlings 38s to £2, younger sorts 18s to 30s, good dairy cows colse to profit £5 10s, others £2 lOs to £3 13s, heifers £5 to £5 15s, others £4 lOs.
