♦ PMovmko v. Art*
A very interesting football match, Paemako schoolboys v. Aria schoolboys, was played at Paemako on Sal* urday, July 4th, in Mr Sincocks paddock. The talk of the match during the week was the cause of a large number of spectators turning out to witness the game. The boys entered into the game with enthusiasm, and there was good play on both sides throughout. The Paemako boys proved too strong for their opponents and won after a good game by 21 points to 8. Tumanako acted as referee jn a satisfactory manner.
On Saturday last the Te Kuiti team beat Oparurc by II points to 8. The match was played at Oparurc and the visitors put up a good fight,, they being only able to place twelve men in the field.
At' a meeting of the Maniapoto Rugby Union held on Saturday evenin« last it was decided to disquailify a Nchinchinui player for the season for using abusive language to the referee. Another player was disqualified but if a suitable apology was forthcoming the disqualification would be lifted. A player who had been previously suspended is to written to and warned for the manner in which he conducts himself on the football held. / The following team has been selected to represent Nehinehinui in their match against Oparure, to be played at Oparurc on Saturday next.
