SUDDEN DEATH AT OHURA

A sudden death occurred at Niho Niho on Tuesday evening last, when Mr W. Alien expired without warning. Mr Allen was one of the earlysettlers, and was well known throughout the district. Dr Rowlands was in attendance on Wednesday morning, and after making an examination reported the matter to Mr A. S. Laird, District Coroner, at Taumarunui. Under the circumstances the Coroner deemed it unnecessary to hold an inquest. Deceased leaves a widow but no family.
