On the 6th July next a ballot is to be taken amongst cont ''"--'-•■ "- i '-~ Public Service Superaunuauiun a uuu for the election of members of the Superannuation Board. Two members are to be elected by the contributors in the Post and Telegraph Department, and three by the contributors other than those in that Department. Messrs C. E. Bennett (Roads Department) and G. S. Richardson (Defence Department) have elected to join forces and support each other's candidature. Mr Bennett is well and favourably known in the King Country, having occupied I the position of k accountant in the Te T " ''' ~ the Roads Department tor some years. The Anglican Bishop of Auckland (Dr Neligan) has appointed the Rev. Kenneth W. P. Teale, M.A., to the King Country Home Mission district. Mr and Mrs Teale will leave England on July 9th by the Tongariro, and will reside at Te Kuiti. The Bishop has also secured another clergyman for the Home Mission, who will arrive somewhat later.
