WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
The second annual Waikato Winter Show, to be held at Hamilton, has been fixed for July Bth to Ilth, and there is little doubt that the function will be a record success in every respect. _ The various classes for competition include all kinds of dairy and agricultural products, home and local industries, implements and dairy machinery, together with a champion poultry show. A class for Maori industries has also been included, and provision has been made for receiving exhibits of Maori curios, foods, weapons, musical instruments, fancy work, flax, agricultural implements, fishing tackle, and garments in use before the advent of the pakeha. On the committee for the Maori section are several King Country residents, including Messrs John Ormsby (Otorohanga, T. Pine (Te Kuiti), J. Grey (Mangapeehi), and the Rev. Ward (Taumarunui). Entries for the various sections close 011 June 30th next. Printed schedules are now Issued, and may be obtained at the CHRONICLE office. m
