Otorohanga A (II) v. Neheaeheftui (6). The return match between the above teams took place in Somerville's paddock on Saturday last. The attendance of spectators was fairlylarge, and a good exhibition of Rugby was witnessed. Shortly after the commencement some good passing was indulged in by the Nehenehenui's, who went near scoring. Ellis, G. Poutawera and J. Hetet, were responsible for a pretty display of passing, which resulted in Hetet scoring the first try, but Toe failed to convert. Otorohanga then lined up, and with a good dash carried the ball. to their opponent's 25's, and after a little loose play Turner succeeded in getting over the line. The shot at goal was a d.fficult one, and did not add to the score. Otorohanga then showed good combination, and after some fine dashing play, scored their second try, which was converted, making the score Otorohanga 8, Nehenehenui 3. The local men rallied, and the threequarter line gave some splendid exhibitions of passing, which made the game very interesting. No further scoring was registered in the first spell. Soon after play began both teams livened up and showed good combination, and from the kick-off J, Hetet snapped the leather up smartly, and, with a dodgy run, scored again for the local team. Otorohanga were then on the defensive, and were equal to the repeated attacks which the local men were making. From a good forward rush by Otorohanga, the full-back (Tiwa), who followed up well, scored the visitor's try, w r hich remained unconverted. Shortly afterwards time was called, the scores being: Otorohanga 11, Nehenehenui 6.
