A. concert in aid of tin; Congregational Church Haxaar funds, was held in the Hall, Te Kuiti, on Wednesday evening. The Rev. R. Milcliell presided, and there was a good attendance, the takings at the door realising £4. The following programme was got through during the evening, all the items being well rendered, and highly appreciated:— Pianoforte solo, J. T. Hctet, Jnr. ; solo, Mr W. Turner; solo, Mrs Forsyth ; solo, Mr Blackman; recitation, Mr Early; solo, Mr Trin near ; solo, Mrs Raker; solo, Hira Poutawera ; pianoforte solo, Miss Pressley; 5010,.', Mr Maker,- duct, Mcsdames Darrow a in! Rodgers; solo, Mr Blackman;'' recitation, Mr Early ; solo, HiraPou- ; tawera ; comic song, Mr Turner.
