No sewage tank shall be placed within 66 feet of any house, shop, factory, workshop, or place of worship or in any place where the same is likely to be a nuisance or dangerous to health, or where proper 'drainage cannot be obtained for the disposal of the effluent. 44. No filter bed or irrigation system intended to be used in connection with any sewage tank shall be placed within I r 2 chains of any house, shop, factory, workshop, or place of worship. 45. No 'occupier of any premises shall permit any sewage tank on such premises or the fittings or appliances thereof to become a nuisance or dangerous to health. 46. No person other than a licensed 01* approved sanitary drainer shall construct, erect, alter, amend, repair or enlarge any sewage tank or any filter bed or subsoil irrigation system used or intended to be used in connection with a sewage tank. Notice to Conform. 47. In case at any time any sanitary convenience, stable, pig-stye, sewer, drain, sewage tank, or sanitary fitting shall be erected, constructed, placed or fitted or be otherwise in any waj r contrary to the provisions of this By-law the Council may by notice in writing signed by the County Engineer or Sanitary Inspector require the owner or occupier of the premises whereon such sanitary convenience, stable, pig-stye, sewer, drain, sewage tank or sanitary fitting is situated to pull down, remove, alter, amend or add to the same so as to comply with the provisions of this By-law within the time mentioned in such notice. The time allowed by the notice shall be such as may be reasonably required to perform the work or thing mentioned in such notice. Any person failing to comply with such notice within the time mentioned shall be deemed to be guilty of an offence under this By-law. Penalty. 48. Any person who shall do or cause to be done anything whatsoever contrary to this By-law, or shall omit to do anything which according to the true intent and meaning of this By-law ought to be done by him, at the time and in the manner in this By-law provided, or shall refuse or neglect to comply with any notice duly given him under any provision of this By-law, or shall obstruct any officer of the Council in the performance of any duty to be discharged by him under, or in exercise of any power conferred on him by this By-law, or who shall otherwise be guilty of any breach of this By-law, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds, or where the wrongful .act, omission, or breach is a continuing one, then a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds for every day or part of a day during which such wrongful act or omission or other breach of this By-law continues.
