At Tc Kuiti (Mi Feb. 19 we yarded 525 cattle and 2000 sheep. The yarding was not as large as we expected the continuous dry weather n.. deulu keeping some of (he stock baa'!;. There was a good demand for cattle and prices ruled about the same as YVaikato ps-iees. I2s; fat and forward lambs Os to 10-. cull ewes 2s to 5s ; Romney rams i',}. The furniture sold on account of Mr F. R. Gibson soid readily, and made good prices. At Morrinsville 011 Friday we had onlv a small of cattle, ISO head and 180b sheep. There was a good attendance. Fat steers made £S : calves, qs ; choice 2-b l oth ewes, iSs ; 2-tooth Wethers, ISs M j bu cows and heifers. £3 ns to £S 12s ; fat wethers.
