LAND BOARD ELECTION.
The election of a member for the Auckland Land Board to fill the vacancv caused bv the retirement of the Hon. W. W. McCardle, takes place en February 24th. Nominations to the number of fifteen have been received, all the districts in the Province being apparently desirous of having a representative on the Board.
