The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report as follows : On Tuesday, Jan. 28 th, at Ohaupo we yarded 300 head of store cattle. Owing to the continued dry weather competition was not at all keen, and most of the stock reserved. Those sold at auction and afterwards realised much lower values than previous sales. Two and 2%-year steers, £3 2s to £3 10s ; store calves, £1 15s to £2 2s ; strong good calves, 19s to £1 is 6d ; smaller sorts at low prices springing heifers up to £4 10s ; yearlings to 18-months steers in good condition, £l 7s 6d,
