to the editor. Sir, —Now the holidays are over I hope Te Kuiti residents will not for* get that there is not much time left if anything is going to be done towards getting town works put in hand. There is the loan idea to be considered and we should not allow it to drop. Sanitary measures have got to be undertaken, and in order to deal with them properly the town will require to be placed in a different position with regard to streets and drainage than it is at present. Wake up Te Kuiti. —I am, etc., NEW CHUM.
