A sitting of the Lajifl Boaf.cl was held at New Plymouth on December 20th, when there were present: The Commissioner of Crown Lands, and Messrs Heslop and Connett. The following business of interest to the King Country was transacted : TRANSFERS; The application of G, E- Ciiri'ie (q transfer to G. Loveday, section 3, block 9, Ohura, was approved. < APPEALS. T. A. O'Brien appealed against the forfeiture of section 13, block 3. Ohura. —Rescinded conditionally on necessary improvements being completed within three months. J. J. Ansford, section 11, block 10, Oh u ra. —Co n ft r m ed. A. Hogg, section 8, block 12, Aria. —Confirmed. T. •E. Doyle, section 24, block 3, Ohura. —Confirmed. ~ J, Han ley. section 8, block 2, Heao. Thomas Humphries applied for the lease of section 6, block 15, Aria, to issue.—Resolved that the Board was unable to issue lease until applicant should be in Ibona fide residence on the land, and otherwise complying wftfo' t }}'e" jpg j] dj j. itf ns, GENEHaL. The price to be put on the Aria Dairy Factory site was considered. It was decided that the Minister for Lands be recommended to dispose of the land for £lO per acre. B. Boult stated that he would build on section 18, block 11, Ohura, after Christmas, and fell more bush next season. —Resolved that action should be deferred until a report of the Ranger was received.
