OBITUARY.
Mr John MUtrphy, Tc K«H«, The news of the death of Mr John Murphy, of Tc Kuiti, was received on Friday last: with general regret. Mr Murphy had been resident at 'i'e Kuiti for some yeai;s, aijij was vjdcly ' spected. ' About six years ago lj ( . drew a section on the Mangaorino road at the ballot, and shortly afterwards removed Irom Wailii lo Tc Kuiti lo reside. When the refreshment rooms at 'l'e Kuiti railway station were established, Mj" Murpjp; was placed in o'i|aint:,":>l!d' niaua'geii them up to the time of his death, For some time deceased had been suffering with a chest complaint, and about six weeks ago was admitted to the Covcrnment Sanatorium at Cambridge, at which Iplace his death occurred. Deceased leaves a widow to mourn his loss. The funeral look place at Cambridge on Saturday last.
