WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
A meeting of the executive committee of the Waikato Winter Show Association was held last evening, ivlr A. Bell in the chair. Messrs Bell and Pariane were appointed a committee to draw up a schedule of conditions for the competition of five acres of turnips. The following committees were appointed : —Dairy section, Messrs J. Primrose, A. H. Thornton, D. Morrow and V. Chitty; home industries, Messrs John Prinirose, W. C. Davis, S. Hutchinson and try, Messrs A. Fyrze, £. Cusspn, Jephab'ii Lea and "£'. V eale; agricultural, Messrs W. Chitty, W. Clarke, W. E. Clarke, J. Fisher and R. D. Duxfield ; Horticulture and garden produce, Messrs J. S. Bond, W. Dibble, J. Keeley and R. Parr and Dr Brewis ; machinery section, Messrs J. W. Ellis, F. W. Mason, H. Upton, W. L. Luxford, B. Elliott and F. R. Seifert; Maori industries Messrs J. S. Bond, D. Moroney, W. Chitty, F. W. Mason F. E. Smith, C. Cussen and S. Hutchinson. The ayestion of a fat stogk show was left for discussion till the next jneeting- , T „ , Messrs J. S. Bond, J. Pariane, and A. Bell were appointed to set up a ladies committee. The dates for the show were fixed for July Bth, 9th, 10th, and nth. Mr J. Keeley offered prizes for the best six swedes, the best collection of vegetables, golden tankard mangolds, yellow and white flesh turnips grown from J. K. King and Son's seeds.
