TE KUITI CEMETERY.
The Trustees of the Public Cemetery met at Mr Sims' boarding-house on Thursday last. Mr John Nicholls was elected Chairman, and Mr William White, Secretary and Treasurer. On the motion of Mr McKenzie, seconded by Mr Snowden, the Secretary was empowered to buy such books, stationery, and stamps, as may be required for the said offices. It was unanimously agreed that the ploughing and grassing of the said cemetery be deferred until the Autumn. It was also agreed to accept Mr Boddie's offer to do the whole of the road front fence, the Trustees finding the material.
'lhe Secretary was instructed to convey to jhe Wajtomo County Council the hearty thanks of the Trustees for their contribution of £5 towards the cost of fencing. On the motion of Mr Nicholls, seconded by Mr McKenzie, it was agreed that' the next meeting of Trustees be held on Friday, November Bth, at 7 p.m., at Mr Nicholl's residence, Rora Street.
