Good competition ruled throughout. Fresh 3-year-old steers brought £6 to £6 14s; poorer sorts, £5 to £6 5s ; 2%-year-old steers, £4 5s to £5 3s; 18-months to two-year-old steers, £3 to £3 Iss; yearling steers, p i& to £2 8s ; mixed yearijags f ':£i'i§s"jfo £2 4s ;"sto£e cows, £2 ios"; empty heifers, 14"55t0 £5 12s 6d ; dairy cows, £4 15s to £5 10s ; 89 ewes and lambs, £1 5s 3d. Pigs sold*readily, slips 13s to 16s, weaners 9s 6d to lis.
