Evolution.
TO THE EDITOR. Slß,—That my strictures and denunciations of fraudulent pretenders were not uncalled for, " Master Craftsman's" puerile wail in their defence makes amply apparent. And as he has publicly ordered me not to expose their delinquencies, I take the liberty to tell him in rebuttal that I absolutely refuse to be hectored or dictated to by champions of graft, especially by one whose experience of " four continents " has taught him no more wisdom than his disconnected defence of graft indicates!. And to assure him and his company that, notwithstanding his sneer at, and amazing ignorance of the greatest scientific truth, Evolution, this age has substantiated, I shall continue to utilise it for a lay text, and fearlessly apply the experience a not unprofitable life of observation has permitted me ; and undauntedly single out fraud and hypocrisy whenever I desire to. As his attack on me is unprovoked, and from behind a pseudonym, I shall in future pay no heed to his silly vagaries. Let him and his like come out from their shelter of anonymity, for to do otherwise shows the turpitude of the coward, which no gjadiator worthy of the name resorts fo— I am, etc., W-P-
