CORRESPONDENCE.
* TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I noticed some time ago that the County Council authorised the expenditure of a c rtain ;:u:n of money for the purp.-v.e of forming a iVctpaJh to the school, but so far n.> actiou has been taken. There has been very little rain this season, but during the next few months we all know what a morass the road will be. There is hardly a chance of children getting to school without wet feet, no i matter how well they are shod. I think the
path should be made immediately, and would advocate its being constructed on the side next the railway line. By doing so there would be less chance of it being cut up by stock, while being driven to the sale yards. I understand the public are to be asked to contribute towards the work and I will be glad to bear a share of the expenditure for the sake of the school children. —-I am, etc.,
PATERFAMILIAS.
