OPARURE V. PIOPIO.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —-I should like to say a word in appreciation of the Piopio footballers who visited Oparure last week. The Opr.rur'j Natives are all agreed that a better lot of Pakehas have never visited here, and we hope the Piopio team will continue playing football all round the year. We are expecting the Te Kuiti team on Saturday and will give them a hearty welcome. Kia Ora—l am, etc., MIHINGA.
